A large group of Atascocita student-athletes signed college scholarships recently.

In all, 14 made their college choices official. Among those were baseball players Clay Bradford (Temple Junior College), Steven Cortina (Alvin Community College), McCrae Kendrick (Angelina Junior College), Hudson Luce (San Jacinto College), and Zachry Schneider (Truman State University). Football players Kenneth Bray (Texas Lutheran University), Holden Stubbs (Illinois College), and Carrington Wooden (Millsaps College) also signed scholarships as did basketball player Shaniya Klauser (Jacksonville College). Mari Robinson signed with University of Louisiana at Lafayette (track and field) and Maddie VanDyke with New Mexico Junior College (volleyball). In addition, Olivia Schoch (University of Texas, cheerleading) and Jacob Witkowski (Dallas Baptist University, bass fishing) also signed.


Kingwood student-athletes recently made their college choices official, signing scholarships at a ceremony held at the Humble Civic Center. Included in that group were soccer players Andrew Kovacik (Mary Hardin-Baylor), Arron Pontiff (Blinn Junior College), and Noah Siega (Paris Junior College). Cross country/track athletes McKenzie Clark (Texas Tech University) and Leah Sanders (Southern Arkansas University) also signed. Rounding out the group were football player Michael Van Uden (Millsaps College) and baseball player Trey Dees (Southwestern University).
