Humble Golf Center has added footgolf, a new, fast-growing sport, to their location. All ages are welcome to play, making it a family-oriented activity.

Compared to the original sport of golf that takes much longer, footgolf only takes an estimated hour and 45 minutes to complete the full course of 18 holes. The sport is a combination of soccer and golf, using a soccer ball to kick into a 21-inch-diameter cup.
“It is an easier game to learn. It’s the basics of golf mixed with the skill-set that most people have, which is to simply kick a ball. We have had ages from 4 to 80 playing footgolf,” said Humble Golf Center facility manager, Phillip McClellan, Jr.
McClellan encourages families to try the new sport and bring a cooler to the course.
The weekday cost for footgolf is $8 for juniors and $10 for adults. Each player needs to have their own soccer ball for the game. Bring one from home or rent one from the facility for $5.
Home to the first footgolf course in Houston, the Humble Golf Center takes pride in their multi-golf recreational facility. In addition to footgolf, they offer golf lessons, a driving range and a putting green. They recently introduced disk golf as well, which requires a set amount of disks for the game.
