Kingwood High School cross country competed in a chilly District 22-6A meet Thursday, Oct. 17 at Atascocita High School. It was a good showing for KHS runners at all levels.

Wildcats William Taylor and Tavian Coleman swarm Pasadena’s quarterback in a game where they soundly defeated the guest team 49-7 at Turner Stadium Thursday.

The Kingwood team tennis squad will advance to the region quarterfinals early this week after getting past Clear Creek, 10-8, in an area round playoff match. Abbey Jo Moyar rallied for a key win in the match.

Kingwood quarterback Grant Wall threw for one touchdown and ran for another as the Mustangs took a major step towards a playoff berth with a 24-7 victory over Summer Creek on Friday at Turner Stadium.

The Humble Family Skate Center has been hosting family-oriented roller skating since it first opened in 1977. Generations of children and adults have enjoyed it for both the recreation it provides and the friendships made.
