Madison Benzer and Dalton Locke earned Kingwood High School tennis its first trip to the state playoffs in two decades with a resounding 6-1, 6-1 victory in mixed doubles in the Region 3-6A Finals.

On April 3-4, the Kingwood High School Golf team took home some major wins as well as some nice gold trophies in the District 22-6A Golf Tournament held at Atascocita Country Club. Due to their dominance on the course, both A and B teams for the girls and boys will advance on to the regional tournament.

Projects Hoops recently announced that the program has named Royce Huseman as director of player development for the organization. In this role, he will lead the club in training coaches, skills development, leadership training, strategy and recruitment.

On Thursday, April 11, The High School Lacrosse League for South Division II announced its 2019 All-Star Award winners.

The Kingwood Crusaders Rugby Club, which has been playing its home games and practicing at Creekwood Middle School in Kingwood and at Falls Park in Humble since its founding in 2015, has a new home in River Grove Park.
