Welcome back to Out and About … where you can find out what’s happening in our community. Ruth Davies hosted a dinner in her gorgeous home for supporters of Holy Trinity Episcopal School (HTES). Robert Gilroy with Majestic Fine Wines provided the fabulous wines that paired perfectly with a delicious menu catered by Amedeo’s. David and Teresa Bradley were the winning bidders of the dinner which was a live auction item at the HTES gala. Enjoying the evening: Steven Spencer and Xochitl Perales; Mike and Edie Cherubino; Kevin and Erin Keating; Todd and Crystal Womack; Tom and Tiffany Heath; Alex and Mariela Suescun; Michael and Karen Williams. On a sad note, the Bradleys are moving to The Woodlands, but they promise to attend next year’s gala and bid on the dinner again! That gala will be February 27 at La Colombe D’Or Hotel and Restaurant. Angela Hall and Ruth will be the co-chairs; so a fabulous evening awaits! The Mayor said, “Dominick, you are sure to be a success not only because of your accomplishments but because you came here today to thank us, and showing that you are gracious is a sign of a person that is destined to be successful”  He later commented to all Council Members, “Colleagues, I want you to know that Colorado School of Mines [where Dominick is heading this fall] is one of the most prestigious of colleges and produces the finest of leaders.  For students that complete this program, they are top in their field and a step above the rest.” Council Member Rodriguez, Council Member Lovell and Council Member Jones offered many kind remarks to Dominick as well.  The Veranda Restaurant offers daytime and evening cooking classes that are fun and delicious as well.
