The countdown is on for the East Montgomery County Improvement District’s annual A Holiday to Remember.

This fourth year will extend the event by an additional weekend for a full 20 days of ice skating, snow sliding, bumper cars, train rides and more. Plus, the holiday market returns for the first two weekends and Santa will be on hand through Christmas Eve. The event remains entirely indoors at the Valley Ranch Town Center at 22296 Market Place Dr. between Hobby Lobby and Cinemark.

Attractions and the market kick off Friday, Dec. 10 and are open through Sunday, Dec. 12. Then, A Holiday to Remember reopens Friday, Dec. 17 and runs through Sunday, Jan. 2. The Classic Car Show returns Sunday, Dec. 19. More than 100 classic cars, muscle cars, vintage cars and everything in between will be featured in the parking lot. For that day only, extra parking will be available at Hobby Lobby and a portion of the Kroger parking lot near the gas pumps. Wristbands are $20 for those 42” tall and above, while wristbands are $5 for children under 42.” Visitors must be at least 42” tall to ride the bumper cars and snow slides. Numerous attractions have been added to appeal to the younger crowds. Walking in and browsing, attending the market and seeing Santa Claus are free.

Santa Claus is coming to town, and he’s visiting A Holiday to Remember for an extended stay! Jolly ol’ St. Nicholas is ready by the fireplace for his close-up with children and families wanting that Christmas picture. Get ready to tell him all about your holiday wish list, or write him a letter and leave it in the big red mailbox.


Sunday, Dec. 19, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

Get ready to go back in time with the popular classic car show in the parking lot of A Holiday to Remember. See classic cars, muscle cars — all cars are pre-1986. The event is free to the public.
