Based on the hit Adam Sandler movie, “The Wedding Singer” is a rollicking fun musical full of ‘80s nostalgia. It’s 1985 and Robbie Hart is New Jersey’s favorite wedding singer until his fiancé leaves him at the altar. Enter Julia, who is about to be married to a Wall Street shark, and, unless Robbie can pull off the performance of a decade, the girl of his dreams will be gone forever.
This feel-good musical traverses through power pop ballad, rap and headbanging rock and has you coming out feeling, like, totally rad!
Director is Camee Faulk, musical director is Jason Watt, and technical director is Brittany Baugh. Music is by Matthew Sklar. “The Wedding Singer” is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International.
