Kingwood High School is planning to present the play, “Puffs or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic” by Matt Cox, Nov. 5 and 6 at 7 p.m. and two shows Saturday Nov. 7 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
It will be the first play being presented by Humble ISD since the pandemic’s closing of schools in the spring (COVID-19 protocols have been put in place, seating will be spaced, and masks are required while watching the play).
Kingwood High School has two new theatre department teachers blazing the trail this year: Camee Faulk, theatre director, and Brittany Baugh, technical director.
“Puffs” is a Harry Potter comedy of epic proportions and follows the Puffs House (not the Snakes, nor the Smarts, nor the Braves) in a certain school of magic. It is a “play for anyone who has never been destined to save the world,” as the Puffs website describes it.
