The Kingwood Garden Club has been working diligently over the past months of COVID-19 closures and restrictions to keep to normal activities. The club has continued to hold board meetings and committee planning sessions by Zoom. The September and October general meetings were also held over Zoom, but the club board has voted to continue forward and will hold the Nov. 10 meeting in person at Kingwood Episcopal Church, the normal meeting spot over the past years. The meeting will be held in compliance with local social distancing and mask requirements and will begin at 9 a.m.

On Saturday, Nov. 14 at 8 a.m. in Town Center Park, the 20th Annual Reforest the Forest Tree Sale will be held. The sale will include native trees and shrubs. Also included will be fruit and citrus trees to enhance landscaping. Prices range from $5-$25. Virtual sales/pre-orders are preferred by email to This email address is being protected from spambots. Trees will be ready for pick up at the park Saturday morning. In conjunction with the tree sale, garden club members have created some amazing decorator items for attendees to purchase during the first Kingwood Garden Club Gift Market. Items include Christmas ornaments, artwork, dish gardens, jewelry and many other items from the very talented garden club members.
