The annual Fall Festival and Market will be held Saturday, Sept. 30, from noon-8 p.m., at St. Martha Catholic Church in Kingwood. This event has been designed to bring the community together after the recent floodwaters of Hurricane Harvey damaged the community. The festival will include fun, family-friendly activities, such as Bible games, bounceable inflatables, colorful face painting, and balloon tying. There will also be a market complete with local arts and craft vendors, delectable food, cotton candy and refreshing snow cones. No event of this magnitude would be complete without a beer garden for the adults, an entertaining DJ and live music hosted by KSBJ and KSHJ. Finally, The McTeggert Irish Dancers will create an atmosphere of spirit as they dance toward the holidays. St. Martha Catholic Church is located at 4301 Woodbridge Pkwy. off Northpark Drive. The church supports more than 100 ministries and the public is invited. For details, contact the church at 281-358-6637 or on the web at stmartha.com.
Before you go …
… we’ve got a small favor to ask. More people are reading The Tribune than ever. Advertising revenues across the media spectrum are falling fast. And unlike many news organizations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. The Tribune's independent, investigative journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too. If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps to support it, our future would be much more secure. Support the only locally owned, locally produced news product in the Lake Houston area. And thank you!
