The Atascocita High School Choir Department will present two public musical performances of scenes from Rodgers and Hammerstein’s beloved Broadway musical “Oklahoma!” complete with sets and costumes on Friday, Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 28 at 2 p.m. The AHS A Cappella Choir musical selections will include: “Oh, What a Beautiful Morning,” “The Surrey With the Fringe on Top,” “Kansas City,” “The Farmer and the Cowman,” “I Cain’t Say No!,” “Many a New Day,” “Poor Jud,” “All er Nothin’” and the title song, “Oklahoma!” Cast members include junior Bailey Turner as Curly, senior Sammi Graham as Laurey, senior Madi Patterson as Aunt Eller, senior Drew Carr as Will Parker, junior Jordan Jenkins as Ado Annie Carnes, sophomore Hayden Gray as Andrew Carnes, senior Conrad Hamilton as Jud Fry and junior Keith Philips as Ali Hakim. All seats are reserved and may be purchased from cast members or through the AHS Choir office at 281-641-7606. Tickets are now on sale for $10. Groups of 20 or more can receive special pricing.
