The Kingwood Garden Club was founded in 1973. The objective of Kingwood Garden Club is to promote interest in floral design and horticulture, to encourage interest about gardening in our community, to aid in the protection of native trees and to help others along the way.

Kingwood Garden Club President Cindy Heckaman is so proud of all of the members as “We work together on our next big community project, the ‘Reforest the Forest’ tree sale and gift market.” The event will be held Nov. 13, at 8 a.m. in Town Center, Kingwood. Kate Henderson, chairman of the event, has sold over 6,000 trees and 1,458 have been donated and planted. Trees can be preordered; if interested, email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

The Kingwood Garden Club gift market is in conjunction with the tree sale. Chris Shelley, chairman of this event, will display many beautifully handcrafted items made especially by Kingwood Garden Club members. Some of the gift items available for purchase include jewelry, beautiful potted plants and more.

“Please save the date of April 29- May 01, 2022,” said Heckaman, “when Kingwood Garden Club showcases six lovely gardens throughout the Kingwood area. A wonderful event, attendees will have the opportunity to see some of the most beautiful gardens in Kingwood.”

Kingwood Garden Club is the place to be, so consider joining. For more information, email Heckaman at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
