Join Harris County Precinct 4 for a day of outdoor adventure and fun with wildlife during NatureFest, Saturday, March 6, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Jesse H. Jones Park and Nature Center.
Come face-to-face with hawks, owls and other native wildlife. Enjoy guided walks, a catch-and-release fish tank, educational exhibits, and a variety of other activities. Learn about local environmental organizations, outdoor activities and native plants and wildlife throughout the day.
There will be a limited number of exhibitors and visitors due to social distancing guidelines. A schedule of events is available on the Jones Park Facebook page at www.facebook.com/JesseHJonesPark. Registration is required for the event and for the individual tours that began Feb. 24, by calling 281-446-8588. Jones Park strongly encourages the use of masks at all times and requires them indoors and when social distancing is not possible.
Jesse H. Jones Park and Nature Center is a Harris County Precinct 4 facility at 20634 Kenswick Drive in Humble. All programs are free and open to the public.
