Wedge Salad
The wedge salad at Saltgrass is just that, a big wedge of fresh iceburg lettuce smothered in bleu cheese dressing along with crumbled bacon, diced tomatoes and more bleu cheese. It’s a favorite of Tribune Owner/Editor Cynthia Calvert at this restaurant chain that first opened in 1991 along I-10 AKA the Katy Freeway. It was acquired by Tilman Fertitta of Landry’s Inc. in 2002.
Cost: $3.49 (added as a side)
