Rick and Kelly Paull hosted a wedding at their home in Kingwood for their nephew (son of her twin sister, Kerry Baker) Kevin Baker Haley who wed Renae Tomlinson on Saturday, July 24. Their home was embellished in black, white, purple and a beautiful aqua blue. An outdoor 10 x 40 tent was transformed into a wonderland with a balloon arch, spandex chair covers and flowers. The flower girl, Aribelle Raelyn Wilcox, stole everyone’s hearts in her long fairy tale dress with a train. Even the family dog, Marley, sported a purple bow tie! The groom’s big brother, Lord Kacey Charles Baker-Haley, officiated, while his twin brother, Kyler Haley stood next to him as his best man. Kyler’s wife, AshLynn, and their son, Kyler Jr., were in attendance to witness the vow exchange as well. Standing next to the bride was Kelly’s daughter, Sarah Delaine Williams. She and her kids are always the life of the party. One of Kerry and Kelly’s twin brothers, Keith Charles Baker came with his family, Erin, Kaitlyn and Kamden. And of course, Kelly’s other children, Lyndsi, Justin and their babies Aiden and Ameilia, and then son, Kody Philen, with fiance, Sydney Rambo. The small affair with family and friends was intimate and very special.

A wonderful crowd enjoyed a white magic evening hosted by Gaby and Louis Flory benefiting Pillars of the Community and HAAM. The host committee comprised of Gaby Flory, Emily Stander, Connie Chandler, Millie Garrison and Kelly Paull. The Flory home was an apparition in white and the guests looked stunning including Erin and Ron Holley, Sam and Casey Schrade, Tracey and Travis Gonzalez, Janet Huberty and son Ryan, Gwendolyn and Dave Crawford, 2020/2021 Pillars Danell Fields and Kenny and Nancy Shortsleeve. Standing out in a sea of white was Kelly Krenszke (aka pyramid Kelly) wearing an orange top. Also in pearly white were Geralyn Sullivan, Chris and Jason Parker and bookend Janet Huberty, Darryal and Connie Chandler — who just couldn’t resist a pop of her signature color (teal), and the always lovely Emily and Nicolas Stander. Appreciation galore to these local businesses who donated food, wine, beer and of course printing: Raffa’s, Three B’s, Clubs of Kingwood, Chick-fil-A Fall Creek, Walgreens, HCA Kingwood, Nico’s Bar and Grill, Fire Craft BBQ, Minute Man Press and Megaton Brewery. The signature cocktail was a white Russian with vodka supplied by the lovely Emmy Lee.

Deerwood Club hosted a lovely soiree reminding members that all are welcome to partake in this fabulous dining venue. Chef Cathy served lots of warm appetizers including a bacon, cheese and kale dip that was to die for! Food and Beverage Director Sean Goltz provided generous pours of wine while Josie handled the draft beers and cocktails. New members were greeted in style by the membership committee Devon Alexander, Connie Chandler and Rusty Rivet.
