The Greater East Montgomery Chamber had its second in-person luncheon July 7 catered by Texas Road House at the Randall Reed Stadium Community Room. Over 100 members and guests enjoyed the luncheon immensely, shaking hands and sharing a few hugs!

Battle of the Bartenders was tremendous. Over 150 were on hand to watch four local favorites in cocktail combat. At stake was not only the glory and a nice gift card, but bragging rights for the cocktail of the month. Reece brought the sophistication along with his signature 007 Vesper Martini, “shaken, not stirred” of course. His beverage was paired with bouillabaisse. Amanda put together a spicy peach martini served with a peach and goat cheese bruschetta. All the way from Jamaica, Stephan served a Jamaican Maui along with jerked chicken. Last but certainly not least was Josie (cheering section in tow) who won the night with her “Josie’s on a Vacation Far Away” blueberry (antioxidant loaded) pick-me-up with a pacific rim surf and turf. Some of the beautiful people in attendance were Cindy and George Avdey. Cindy is forever stunning, but particularly gorgeous in a satiny green long dress. Samantha Cox was adorable in a summer dress and jacket and Mitchell Cox in country club casual.
