The Tin Cup Anniversary Celebration is all about commemorating the 25th anniversary of the filming of the movie “Tin Cup.” Many locals were in the movie playing extras and some just simply witnessed history. There will be several ways for you to participate. You may play golf, tennis, attend the gala or do all three! This event benefits two worthy causes: Humble Area Assistance Ministries (H.A.A.M.) and Employer Partner Care Foundation (E.P.C.F.). Gala chair Linda Prator is planning a fabulous evening with dinner, dancing to a live band, and a silent auction featuring vacation stays, restaurant packages, spa packages and more! The committee for the 25th anniversary kicked off their planning by having a “Tin Cup” watch party. Some of those in attendance were Rachel Harlin, Onnie Sherrer, Linda and David Prator, Ann Viault and Larry Polich.
