HOUSTON, TX (January 24, 2022) The 100 Club, a 69-year-old Houston-based non-profit organization, which supports the dependents of law enforcement officers and firefighters killed or seriously injured in the line of duty, announces its assistance for the dependent family of Harris County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant Ramon Gutierrez who was killed while he was conducting a motorcycle escort in Houston on January 24, 2022. 45-year-old Sergeant Gutierrez is survived by a wife and three children.

A $20,000 check will be presented to Sergeant Gutierrez’s wife to help with any immediate financial needs. Additional financial support for the dependent family will be made after an assessment of their needs is conducted. Over 200 officer and firefighter families have been assisted, with more than $24 million in financial assistance being provided.

Donations are being accepted to “The 100 Club Survivor’s Fund”, that provides benefits to the dependents of firefighters and law enforcement officers who are killed or seriously injured in the line of duty.
