On Oct. 21, a deputy with Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s office responded to the 18300 block of Marlin Waters Drive for burglary of a motor vehicle. Upon the deputy arriving, the complainant reported that an unknown suspect broke into their vehicle and stole property. During the investigation, deputies discovered several additional unlocked vehicles had been burglarized overnight. Investigators were able to track down a video that captured the suspect actively burglarizing a vehicle. After a thorough investigation, he was positively identified as Anthony Arroyo, who is currently on probation for a previous burglary of a motor vehicle charge. Investigators were able to gather additional evidence which linked him to several other motor vehicle burglaries in the Walden and Rivergrove neighborhoods. Arroyo is currently wanted by law enforcement for burglary of a motor vehicle. He received no bond in County Court 16 due to violating his current probation.
