Deputies from Harris County Precinct 4 arrested three suspects Sept. 3 who may be responsible for a number of night- time vehicle burglaries in the Atascocita area, according to Lt. D. Escobar. At approximately 1:30 a.m., Deputy Constable W. Rose, along with other patrol units were alerted to the presence of suspicious activity in the 7100 block of Hot Creek Trail in Atascocita West. According to police reports, a late model, gray Toyota Camry, and a yellow Hummer had been burglarized. Deputies located three suspects carrying items, including a radar detector, stolen from the vehicles. Frank Onwuachi, 19, Paul David Hewitt, 18, and Keyandria April Sloan, 18, were arrested and charged with burglary of a motor vehicle. Hewitt was also charged with possession of a prohibited weapon – he was seen tossing a knife as deputies approached. Onwuachi, who has two previous assault charges, is being held in the Harris County Jail in without bond. Sloan is being held on a $5,000 bond and Hewitt on a $1,000 bond.
