Robert H. Lupton, a resident of Kingwood, Texas, was born in Buffalo, New York. He passed away January 5, 2008 at the age of 79 in Tempe, Arizona after a courageous battle with cancer. After serving his country in the U.S. Army, Robert graduated from the University of Buffalo in 1951 and went to work for the Dept. of State in Washington D.C., embarking on a lifelong career as a U.S. Diplomat for 55 years until retiring in 2007. He served his country with pride, honor, and dignity and received numerous awards over the years, being highly respected and admired. His overseas tours included: Korea, Singapore, Panama, Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Zambia, and several tours in the United States. "Robert's greatest pleasure was spending time with his loving daughter and family in Arizona. He wanted us to stay strong and support each other in every way. His words of wisdom will always guide us." Mr. Lupton is survived by his loving wife, Alice "Skippy" Lupton; daughter, Adeline "Abby" Lupton and her husband, Steven Neese; grandchildren, Tiffany, Timothy, and Kayla Lupton-Stegall, and Robert Neese; sister, Elizabeth Coltrain and her husband, Philip; a niece, nephews and friends.
