Having worked for the District as long as I have, I am familiar with some of the challenges we face: explosive growth, funding issues of recent years, and school safety. I am personally vested in the District and the community that I serve as shown by my record. As a member of the Board of Trustees, I promise to serve the District, the community, and the children as I do in my chosen profession. |

I am Shawn Biazar and I am a candidate for Humble Independent School District Board of Trustees Position 5. I have been married to Alejandrina Biazar for the last 14 years. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and works as a stay-at-home mother. We have three children: Andre, Nicholas, and Kamila. All three attend Humble ISD schools. We attend the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Kingwood. I have been in Law Enforcement for over a decade. I am currently a Deputy Sheriff with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, but the vast majority of my career has been with the Humble ISD Police Department. I hold a Texas Master Peace Officer license and am a member of the North Harris County Criminal Justice Association. I was honored by the Lake Houston Area Chambers of Commerce as the 2011 Peace Officer of the Year for my dedication and service to the community. Also in 2011, I was honored by Congressman Ted Poe and Representative Dan Huberty for my commitment and service to the community, as well. I have a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication with a minor in Criminal Justice from Texas Southern University, where I graduated Cum Laude. |
