Humble ISD is currently interviewing and hiring for a number of available positions, both full-time and part-time, across the district.
“We invite all qualified candidates to apply,” said Christopher Guillory, news and information specialist for Humble ISD.
Those applying should know that many starting salaries for Humble ISD employees have recently been raised.
“At its meeting on June 15, the Humble ISD board of trustees voted to increase the starting salary for teachers, nurses, and librarians from $56,700 to $59,000 per year,” said Guillory.
Currently, one can visit applitrack.com/humbleisd/onlineapp for a full list of job openings at Humble ISD. Positions across a variety of fields, including clerical, administrator, support professional, elementary, middle school and high school, all have job openings. The most vacant positions at the moment include paraeducator, as well as elementary, middle school, and high school certified positions. As of the end of July, there are over 190 positions that are available across all the possible fields.
Each position has different requirements for applications. The starting salary for most positions can be seen either on the salary schedule or when completing the application.
Guillory expanded upon some of the benefits that employees receive under the employment of the district.
“Humble ISD offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package that includes a choice of a traditional state-maintained health plan offered to all districts, as well as a plan exclusive to Humble ISD employees. The exclusive plan includes access to two, full-service health and wellness clinics for employees and their families that feature no out-of-pocket costs, depending on the tier of coverage. Through careful planning and cautionary budgeting by our board of trustees, as well as our administration and financial services teams, Humble ISD employees enrolled in the district’s exclusive health plan will not see an increase for the 2021 - 2022 school year,” said Guillory.
