In the midst of a pandemic, Humble ISD employees are giving back in big ways. A total of 3,385 Humble ISD employees have pledged $345,318 to the Humble ISD Education Foundation through this year’s employee campaign. The campaign theme, “Humble ISD Family: May the Light Be with You,” celebrated the many ways employees shine a light on Humble ISD.

“Humble ISD employees always amaze us with their commitment to supporting one another and our students through this campaign. For the past seven years, over $300,000 a year has been donated to the foundation from employees. But what makes this year’s campaign results so extraordinary is that even after a pandemic, Humble ISD employees have pledged the highest amount ever in the history of the campaign. What a year to break a giving record!” said Jerri Monbaron, Humble ISD Education Foundation executive director.

Fifty percent of the funds go back to campuses or departments to support needs in providing the best education possible to students. The remaining 50% is used to award innovative education grants to educators throughout Humble ISD.
