Parents of new-to-district Kindergarten students may now preregister online for the 2020-2021 school year to facilitate staff and campus planning.
Steps to preregister for Kindergarten for the 2020-2021 school year:
Complete the 2020-2021 New Student Registration form online. Be sure to read through all the information on the form.
While Humble ISD campuses are temporarily closed, all documentation must be uploaded into the online application or emailed to the campus registrar before the enrollment process is complete. Include: child’s proof of age and proof of identity; parent/guardian’s driver’s license or passport for identification purposes; immunization records — must be signed or stamped by the physician or his/her designee or public health personnel (including electronic MyChart records); proof of residency in Humble ISD - For students residing in a house, the lease, deed, or a current utility (gas, water, electricity) bill will suffice. For students residing in an apartment, a lease containing parent and student names or a letter from apartment manager is required. If both parent and student live with a relative or friend in Humble ISD whose residence is not an apartment, the parent and the person with whom they reside must submit a notarized Verification of Address affidavit. The required form is available from any Humble ISD campus; previous school records and school’s mailing address; and standardized test results, if available.
Email the campus registrar to complete enrollment.
Please know that all registered students must be in attendance the first day of school, August 11, 2020, or they will be dropped from class rosters.
Parents of incoming kindergarten students in Humble ISD are asked to preregister online now for the 2020-2021 school year. preregistering helps schools best plan for next year’s classes. Parents of current Humble ISD PreK students do not complete the preregistration. Preregistration is needed only for incoming kindergarten students who will be enrolling in Humble ISD.
Preregistration and document upload can all be done online now while buildings are closed. All required documentation must be uploaded into the enrollment form or emailed to thecampus registrarbefore the enrollment process is complete. Kindergarten Roundups, or orientation sessions, have been postponed this month and will be held at an appropriate time.
Visit humbleisd.net/kinderenrollmentto fill out the 2020-2021 New Student Enrollment form. Students must be 5 years of age on or before Sept. 1, 2020, to be eligible for kindergarten in Texas public schools.
Humble ISD asks families to please complete the online preregistration for kindergarten by Friday, May 15.
