TRICKS AND TREATS

The Creepy Crops Farm comes alive at the East Montgomery County Improvement District’s free tricks and treats drive-thru Tuesday, Oct. 26, from 7-10 p.m., at Randall Reed Stadium, 21360 Valley Ranch Pkwy., New Caney. Spooky scarecrows will greet guests during the family ride-along through the parking lot with a few tricks and more treats from EMCID staff passing out candy. Treats are first-come, first-served.

 

TWISTED TALES OF POE: THE RADIO PLAY

The live stage production, “Twisted Tales of Poe: The Radio Play,” will be shown Wednesday-Sunday, Oct. 27-31, at Lone Star College-Kingwood, 20000 Kingwood Dr., Houston, and will feature adapted stories and poems of Edgar Allan Poe, streaming on YouTube: LSCKTheatre. TRICK-OR-TRIVIA GAME SHOW AND LUNCH

Precinct 4 Encore invites anyone age 50 and older to the first ever Trick-or-Trivia Game Show and Lunch Wednesday, Oct. 27, from noon-4 p.m., at the Humble Civic Center, 8233 Will Clayton Pkwy., Humble. A catered lunch will be served. Wear your creepy, magical and otherworldly costumes for a costume contest. TENT OR TREAT

The public is invited to tent or treat, a Halloween festival for the kids, Friday, Oct. 29, from 3-8 p.m., at the Kingwood Town Center Park, 8 N. Main St., Kingwood. Tents will be decorated for spooky effect. Candy will be given out and gift baskets will be awarded to kids who have the best costumes. Vendors will receive cash prizes for best-decorated tent. FALL FEST

The Bear Branch Elementary PTA, 3500 Garden Lake Dr., Kingwood, invites the public to enjoy its annual fall fest Friday, Oct. 29, from 5-8 p.m. The fall fest team has new games, activities and silent auctions that are sure to be a hit. This fall fest is the biggest fundraising event for BBE; all proceeds will provide the students and staff with the best learning and teaching tools available. TRUNK OR TREAT

BOO AT THE BARNS!

The community is invited to the annual Boo at the Barn event Saturday, Oct. 30, from 1-6 p.m., at the Humble ISD FFA Barn, 13300 Will Clayton Pkwy., Humble. The Halloween-themed event includes visiting the animals for the Humble Livestock Show; vendors, concessions, free hay rides, trunk-or-treating, chicken bingo (profits support Booster Clubs), inflatables ($5). HALLOWEEN PARTY
