The Humble Rodeo is back once again and is ready to provide a variety of entertainment experiences for the Lake Houston area.
This year’s rodeo will take place Jan. 26 - Feb. 5. The carnival will open to the public starting Jan. 26 and remain open throughout the course of the rodeo. The barbecue cook-off will take place Jan. 28-29.
Concerts will take place Jan. 28 with Abigail Taylor set to perform from 7-9 p.m., and Mason Creager and the Gulf Coast Drifters will perform from 9-11p.m. On Jan. 29, Brain Winfield will perform from 7-9 p.m., and Gary Kyle from 9-11 p.m.
COVID-19 kept the rodeo from hosting the traditional livestock show last year; however, it is returning for this year’s rodeo. The livestock show and auction will take place Jan. 31 — Feb. 3. The livestock auction will begin Feb. 3 at 1 p.m.
This year’s events will conclude with rodeo performances that will run at 5 p.m. Bag of Donuts will perform immediately following the rodeo Feb. 4 and Aaron Watson will perform Feb 5.
Parking at the Humble Civic Center and Arena Complex will not be available during the BBQ Cook-off weekend but will be available during rodeo weekend for $5. Free parking will be provided throughout at Humble High School with a free shuttle. Note that due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all passengers over the age of 10 must wear a face mask to cover both their nose and mouth.
