Adela Jones Holda has been named the new managing editor of the Tribune.

Holda joined the Tribune in May of 2019, where she has worked as both an editorial assistant and, most recently, as an assistant editor in charge of managing and coordinating the Tribune columnists. Holda has a bachelor of arts in economics from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the University of Houston at Clear Lake.

“I am thrilled to welcome Adela to our management team,” said Cynthia Calvert, owner of the Tribune. “From her first days with us, Adela has proven to be wonderfully efficient, smart and capable. We love her positive attitude and can-do spirit.”

Holda has a business background and worked as a writer in the civic and social nonprofit industry prior to her journalism days. She and her husband, Peter, have two daughters and have lived in Kingwood since 1997.

Is any one investigating the 8 missing girls out of this county? They are all listed on NCMEC.
