Thank you for being a loyal reader of the Tribune Newspapers. We are in an unprecedented time. The arrival of COVID-19 has definitely changed normal, everyday life. For us at the paper, that meant all but essential personnel working from home. We have reporters writing stories and our marketing staff selling ads. But for now, our office is closed to visitors.

To our advertisers, we could not do this without your continued support. I hope all readers thank each advertiser in the paper as their purchase of space means you receive the paper for free. We remain committed to delivering the news of the Lake Houston community. To those who would like to purchase space, please call our office at 281-540-8742. We urge all residents to buy something! Any and all purchases can mean the sustenance of a business. We are all in this together.

For 13 years, the Tribune has been searching for the truth and telling the stories of our community; our nonprofit newsroom has been focused on sharing the happenings of Lake Houston. It matters to have a credible and reliable source of information that is hyper local.

Going forward, we intend to print the paper every other week as usual and distribute the digital eTribune on the other weeks. If circumstances necessitate digital-only delivery, be sure you are on the list. If you would like to receive the eTribune in your inbox, please send a request to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. We continually update our website, And we have breaking news on our Facebook page and on our Twitter site, TribuneNews07.

All of us at The Tribune wish health, safety and peace of mind to all.
