Continental Airlines named best North American airline

ÃƒÂ¢Ã¯Â¿Â½Ã¯Â¿Â½ The fifth straight year to win the coveted award ÃƒÂ¢Ã¯Â¿Â½Ã¯Â¿Â½ Continental Airlines recently announced that it was named the ÃƒÂ¢Ã¯Â¿Â½Ã¯Â¿Â½Best Airline in North AmericaÃƒÂ¢Ã¯Â¿Â½Ã¯Â¿Â½ at the 2008 Official Airline Guide Airline of the Year Awards for the fifth year in a row. The awards are based on votes by frequent flyers around the world who subscribe to OAG print and electronic travel information products. Bob Schumacher, Continental senior director for the United Kingdom and Ireland, accepted the award on behalf of the airline at the ceremony in London.
