There is a huge demand for middle skills workers in the greater Houston area. Lone Star College System is looking to add technical trainers to help fill this critical jobs gap.
LSCS will be holding a career fair Thursday, Aug. 28 from 1-4 p.m. at LSC-University Park.
LSCS representatives will be on hand to interview for immediate openings for part-time technical trainers to educate our clients’ employee population in learning new mid-level trade skills in the following areas:
API & Premium Threads
NDT training (PT, VT, UT & MT)
Manufacturing Quality Control & Assurance
Pneumatic-Hydraulic Pumps, Compressors and Motors
Maintenance Repair and Troubleshooting
Maintenance Safety
Manufacturing HSE
Drilling, Upstream E&P, Rig Operation
Industrial Electrical Systems
Diesel Power Generation
Mechanical Bearings and Gears
Welding
Applied Mathematics and Precision Measuring
Three to five years verified paid work experience and hands-on practical training experience is required and an associate degree in Engineering Technology or Manufacturing Engineering is preferred.
