The East Montgomery County Improvement District (EMCID) Scholarship Foundation donated $10,000 to Mission Northeast recently. The funds will allow the nonprofit organization to provide opportunities for older adults interested in job training certification classes at Lone Star College-Kingwood. Mission Northeast has offered free education and career training through Lone Star College since 2008. Applicants interested in this scholarship can call Mission Northeast at 281-354-1200.
