HOUSTON (Dec. 3, 2020) - Lone Star College-Atascocita Center is offering a financial incentive for spring 2021 enrollment.
Students who register for nine or more credit hours at LSC-Atascocita Center are eligible to receive $300 to use toward tuition, fees, or books. They must have at least a 2.5 GPA and enroll in classes during the week of Dec. 7-11. Applicants are not required to complete financial aid documentation. However, funds are limited, so students should register early for spring classes.
"We understand that the pandemic has had a financial impact on students. We hope this incentive will help them to continue their education so that they can obtain gainful employment in the future," said Garth Howard, interim vice president of student services at LSC-Kingwood.
The spring 2021 semester will start on Jan. 19. Courses available at LSC-Atascocita Center include art appreciation, biology, drama, EDUC 1300, English, environmental science, government, history, math, philosophy, physical education, psychology, sociology, and speech.
