Enroll in general academic courses at the LSC-Process Technology Center. Online classes are available.

Beginning Oct. 19, general credit courses usually offered at LSC-Kingwood will be available at the LSC-Process Technology Center. Instead of taking specialized programs to earn an associate of applied science degree in process technology or instrumentation Technology, students can take various online classes that will lead to any associate degree or transfer to a four-year university.
"Since this pandemic has forced many people to rearrange their schedules, commuting to our main campus may pose hardships for some. Offering general online academic courses at our satellite center will allow students to start or continue their education while juggling other responsibilities," said David Baty, vice president of instruction at LSC-Kingwood.
Online courses available at the LSC-Process Technology Center are art appreciation, college algebra, EDUC 1300, English: composition and rhetoric, Texas government, and U.S. History to 1877. General psychology will be offered in a hybrid format. These eight-week courses will allow students to complete their college education faster or be core complete before transferring to a university.
"As you can see, we offer a variety of programs to help individuals meet their educational goals," said Mario Castillo, LSC-Kingwood interim president. "We encourage you to speak with an advisor and start the path to a successful future."
The LSC-Process Technology Center is located at 14001 Lockwood Road. For more information or to register for classes that start Oct. 19, call 346-773-3800 or visit lonestar.edu/class-options-near-you.
