Lone Star College-Kingwood’s Career Services department invites job seekers to attend its first Job Fair for spring 2017.

The free event will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 7 from 12-2 p.m. in the Student Conference Center (SCC). Currently, more than 20 companies will be on-site to recruit for a variety of entry level positions such as: business administration, teachers and childcare, customer service representatives, restaurant and banquet staff, police officer cadets, firefighters/EMTs, bus drivers and lifeguards.

This job fair is geared toward our returning students who are seeking part-time and full-time entry level positions while they complete their degrees,” said Kim Hammond, career services employment specialist. “But, community members, who are seeking work, are also welcome and encouraged to attend.”

Companies that will be in attendance include: Aramark, Childcare Careers, Hertz Corporation, Houston Fire Department, Houston Police Department, Houston Recreation Management, Kids in Action, Lane Staffing, Learning Care Group, Link Staffing Services, LSC-Kingwood, Lowe’s, Primrose Schools, Shiftgig, Splendora Independent School District, United States Army, The Village Learning Center, Whataburger, and Lake Houston Family YMCA.

LSC-Kingwood’s Career Services department hosts two job fairs each semester and provides free resources to students and the business community.
