To equip the process technology industry with qualified, educated workers, LSC-Kingwood has started  its brand-new process technology program this month. The program is temporarily being housed at the LSC-Atascocita Center.

The process technology program at LSC-Kingwood will be hosting an informational meeting on Nov. 29 for prospective students.

Faculty are looking for interested students to enroll in the program in the future, and hosted an information session in November.

In order to be accepted into the process technology program, students must be at college level in reading, writing and math. Students should possess aptitude in science and math, have good interpersonal and communication skills, and be a team player.

In Fall 2017, the program will be moved to the new Lone Star College-Process Technology Center located in Generation Park. The 40,200-square-foot facility will be furnished with state-of-the-art simulation equipment, a fully functional pilot plant, and general academic classrooms to train students.

The LSC-Atascocita Center is located at 15903 W. Lake Houston Pkwy. For more information on the program or information session, email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or visit lonestar.edu/Process-Technology-AAS.htm.
