One of Shakespeare’s most enduring romantic comedies, As You Like It, came to life during Precinct 4’s annual Shakespeare in the Shade presentation April 10 and 11 at Burroughs Park, located at 9738 Hufsmith Road in Tomball. Audiences enjoyed action, adventure and family friendly performances featuring some of Shakespeare’s most well-known phrases such as “all the world’s a stage” and "too much of a good thing."
Performances continue April 18 at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. under the pavilion at Burroughs Park.
When Rosalind flees her uncle’s court into the Forest of Arden, she disguises herself as a man and finds love and adventure. Add in Rosalind’s sidekick Celia, her love interest Orlando and the misanthropic Jaques who all come together in this memorable performance you’re sure to love.
Harris County Precinct 4's Senior Adult Program welcomes those 50 and better to enjoy dinner and free live performances of Shakespeare in the Shade's As You Like It Saturday, April 18 at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at Burroughs Park Pavilion.

Transportation is provided by Harris County Precinct 4's Senior Adult Program and Fun4Seniors. Show tickets are included and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
