Decked in green, seniors hit the dance floor during Harris County Commissioner R. Jack Cagle’s St. Patrick’s Day Dance Tuesday, March 17, at the Humble Civic Center.
Seniors were treated to performances of the traditional Irish step dance by the Maguire Academy of Irish Dance Houston, which hosts weekly classes for boys and girls from beginner to championship level. Following the performance, seniors danced to classic country and western swing performed by the River Road Boys.
The event was made possible in part through Precinct 4’s nonprofit organization, Fun4Seniors. Precinct 4’s next Fun4Seniors event includes an all-day shopping trip to four different quilting stores on Friday, March 27, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
