Two sisters, Lynn Enyart, a graphic designer from Kingwood, and Debbie Decker, an entrepeneur from Arlington, Va., combined their experience and talent into creating an inner beauty makeover board game for kids. Introduced at the 2014 International Toy Fair in New York, PrettyPro Game received excellent reviews and two prestigious parenting awards; The Parent Choice Award and The National Parenting Center Seal of Approval.
Players move a character piece around the board landing on the items needed. Players fill in blush, eyeshadow, earrings, etc., to complete the makeover. A set of 12 color pencils and art pads that match individual playing pieces are provided. Playing cards are turned over, advancing or delaying play, with wholesome messages of inner beauty and keeping the PrettyHeart Tiara® in play. A player must have all items colored in and possess the PrettyHeart Tiara® to win the game. Learning how to play is quick and easy, and once game-play is understood, reading is not required to play. If the sketch pads run out, replacement pages are available for free on the company website.
A great gift idea undert $25, PrettyPro (ages 6 and up) is available on the company website, PrettyProGame.com on Amazon, and in specialty stores. PrettyPro Game is made in the U.S.
CUTLINE: PrettyPro Game, a board game released earlier this year by a local resident, is a big hit with kids who play it, and with parents who embrace the inner beauty message it delivers.
