Jeff and Anne Barnhart, a performing duo know as Ivory&Gold, will help ease the winter blues on Tuesday, Jan. 20, when the Lone Star College-Kingwood Music Department hosts a recital and improvisation workshop featuring piano, flute and vocal music.

“Not only are the Barnharts amazingly skilled at their instruments, they also add good humor in presenting their unique blend of jazz, blues, the Great American Songbook, ragtime and original music,” said Jay Whatley, department chair for visual and performing arts. “Their music is lively and entertaining, and is the perfect fit for our ongoing Artist Recital Series.”

The recital will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the Recital Hall (MUS 101). Ticket prices are $20 for general admission; $10 for seniors and students. A reception will follow the performance.
