Boy Scout Troop 1377, Cub Scout Pack 3017 serves lunch to employees, raised over $2,300 for the Flaming Arrow District at Kingwood Medical Center
Boy Scout Troop 1377 and Cub Scout Pack 3017 partnered with Kingwood Medical Center to serve employees a delicious barbeque lunch for a five dollar donation benefitting the Flaming Arrow District, Sam Houston Area Council (SHAC) - Boys Scouts of America on Friday, August 22nd. Over 25 members from Cub Scout Pack 3017, the oldest Pack Unit in the District, and Boy Scout Troop 1377 participated in the fundraising lunch.
“We sincerely appreciate the time and energy the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts provided serving a barbecue lunch to our staff. We enjoy giving back to our local boy scouts and cub scouts and we are excited we were able to help raise over $2,300 dollars for the Flaming Arrow District,” says Kevin Scoggin, Associate COO of Kingwood Medical Center.
