Hi Neighbor Presents Memorial Books to Kingwood Library

Lee Ann Sprick, president, and Nancy Foisner, parliamentarian, of Hi Neighbor presented  Christi Whittington, branch librarian of the Kingwood Branch Library, with a check at their annual luncheon on May 14, 2014, to purchase books in memory of the members they lost in 2013-14. The members who are being memorialized by these are Roma DeShong, Anna Dilieto-Snook, Mary Driver, Beth Grantham, Gail Miller and Beryl Summer.

The books cover the subjects of non-profits, fund-raising for non-profits and grant writing; they include such titles as "Black Tie Optional: A Complete Special Events Resource for Nonprofit Organizations," "From Passion to Execution: How to Start and Grow an Effective Nonprofit Organization", "365 ways to Raise Funds for Your Nonprofit: Practical Ideas for Every Not-For-Profit Organization"and"Confessions of a Successful Grants Writer: A Complete Guide to Discovering and Obtaining Funding."These titles and more are now available for check-out by all who are interested. It is a wonderful way for the organization to remember dedicated members and the Kingwood community as a whole benefits by Hi Neighbor’s generosity.
