Hi Neighbor Club-Kingwood, a women's social activity club, offers numerous social events and community involvement to women throughout the area. Travel opportunities, Photoshop Magic workshops, scrapbooking, antiques, social groups such as "Louisiana Connection" and "Sassy Senior Singles" are just some of the many activity groups offered to members who want to get involved in their community. They also have Women and Wine, Kingwood Chef's Table, sports such as golf and tennis, and games like Canasta, Bridge Shanghai, Dominoes and Bunco, as well as book clubs and a theater group. "Heartbeat Bears" is a philanthropic arm of the club that gifts Teddy bears to traumatized children. The group's motto is: "Where friendship begins and never ends." Their next New Member Coffee will be Aug. 28 at 10 a.m. at the Kingwood Community Center.
