Line Dancers of Kingwood perform for Arbor Terrace and Cypress Woods Senior Living Facilities Volunteer Kingwood line-dancers gave of their time and talent to perform for two Senior Living Facilities recently. Many of the dancers from the free dance classes at the Kingwood Community Center exhibited fun dance routines for the entertainment of the residents at these local senior homes. Residents and guests of THE ARBOR TERRACE, formerely Westminster House, on Jan. 31, experienced such a level of community care and selflessness that all the volunteers exhibited. A resident of the facility, Armondo Mares, is a regular dancer with the popular group and also performed for the large audience. Several of the seniors living there were engaging in the fun, and residents, the kitchen staff, administrators managers, and Jennifer, the Activities Director, participated in the dance numbers, which were called by the Kingwood Community Centers volunteer teacher, Kay Caffey. Dancers were rewarded by the laughter, toe-tapping enthusiasm, and cooperation of the residents. Shown are the volunteer dancers who charmed the Cypress Woods residents and guests: Back row: Darlene Lemesh, Carolyn morrison , Armondo Mares, Judy Miles, Joyce Graves, Kay Caffey, and Ressia Hobgood. Middle row: Dorothy inglis, sharron ruby, Martha Mierendorf, connie Shifferd, loretta mormin , lisa hollands, and juanita jordan. Front row: Petra Ringeisen and Marva Alsander.
