Memorial service raises funds for EquuSearch

On Dec. 14 a memorial service was held in Atascocita at Jerry and Jenny Gerald's home. In conjunction with Texas EquuSearch fundraiser that raised around $3,000. Tim Miller from Texas EquuSearch came to the fundraiser and memorial to give his condolence of the one year anniversary of the murder of Jessica Gerald. Texas EquuSearch is known for looking for lost and or missing loved ones. Tim Miller lost his daughter to murder years ago and started Texas EquuSearch in 2000. He is well known for the Casey Anthony case in Florida and the Natalie Holloway case in Aruba where her body was never To donate to the fundraiser, make checks payable to Texas EquuSearch at P.O. Box 395, Dickinson, 77539. Texas EquuSearch is a nonprofit organization and all donations are tax deductible. Jerry said they never expected anything like this to ever happen to their family. ''It's only with prayer and God's help that we made it through this last year. The pain never goes away but if we did not have the Lord to help us through everyday, one day at a time. Thank you to everyone that has prayed, sent cards, and supported us through these tough times.''
