The Kingwood/Humble Area Aggie Moms Club is gearing up for their third annual fundraising Banquet to be held Nov. 20 at Kingwood Country Club. Proceeds from the event will benefit area students in the form of student scholarships, student awards, and donations to student organizations on the Texas A & M campus. The Aggie Moms Club has a great evening planned for all men and women in the community this year. The event promises to be a festive one with this year's theme being an elegant Western theme for which the club has named the event “Cowboy Christmas.” In addition to the beautiful setting at the Country Club and decorations by the club, there will be a wonderful dinner, the Raffle prize drawings, a Silent Auction, and a Fashion Show with fashions from Baskins Western & Work Wear modeled by local models including area high school students. The raffle prizes include a Kingwood Country Club Golf/Brunch package for four, a 32 " Samsung HGTV, six Vera Bradley bags donated by Alspaugh's Ace Hardware, an outdoor grilling package, a handmade quilt, and a collection of gift cards. Tickets to the event are being sold by Aggie Moms Club members, by emailing JoAnn Dusing at This email address is being protected from spambots.
