Just in time for summer, The Clubs of Kingwood, a member of the ClubCorp family of clubs, unveiled its new Kingwood Fitness & Sports and completely renovated water park during a grand opening event May 10. The opening marked a major achievement in the club’s recovery efforts after it suffered excessive flood damage during Hurricane Harvey – impacting virtually all facilities, including the clubhouses and fitness center and causing extensive damage to the water park. Construction continues on the clubhouses, to be updated with stylish new dining and social features and expected to be complete in early Fall 2018.

“The events in 2017 were life-changing for so many in our community, forcing all of us to pause and put things in perspective,” said Blake Roberts, general manager. “Reopening our completely new fitness center and renovated water park just as summer begins is perfect timing and a great addition to our Club and community. We can now reward our members, who have been steadfast in their resilience and patience for the past eight months, with amenities that will allow them to enrich their lives, spend meaningful time with their families and friends, and work toward their wellness goals.”
Features and amenities of the new Kingwood Fitness & Sports, spacious at 20,000-square-feet, include the latest in equipment and specialized programming:
