Cancer center 'Terminators' prepare for 'Relay for Life'

They call themselves “The Terminators” and their long-term goal is to “terminate” cancer in our lifetime. “The Terminators” are more commonly known as members of the Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital “Relay for Life” team. Their immediate goal is to participate on Friday night, May 3 at Summer Creek High School in “Relay for Life,” the journey to end cancer starting with a single step. “The Terminators” invite all to join them – or organize your own group by going to the Relay for Life website at relayforlife.org and going to the Humble/Kingwood page. When you walk to end cancer at the Humble/Kingwood event, it’s your opportunity to honor cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost, and raise awareness about what we can do to stay healthy and raise money to help fuel the world’s largest walk to end cancer. Ready to terminate cancer, from left, are Toni Schau, Sandy Brady, Linda Wuest, Kate Mahan, Monica Baisden, Kenneth Anderson, Jennifer Webb-Goetz, Team Captain Renee Knorr, Lynn Whitehair, Assistant Team Captain Lynsey Scott, Mary Ann McBeth, Linda Willis, Laurie Samples, Samantha Taylor and Andrea Baker.
