Pac-12 Network added to Suddenlink’s Kingwood TV lineup Suddenlink recently added the Pac-12 Network to its TV lineups in Kingwood. The Pac-12 Network features games and content from all Pac-12 schools. It can be found on channel 531 in Suddenlink’s digital Sports and Information package. Customers with digital TV services will be able to see game replays and programs from the network through Suddenlink’s video-on-demand service. Less than a month left to register to vote The deadline to register to vote in the Nov. 6 presidential election is Oct. 9. State law requires citizens to be registered to vote 30 days prior to the election date to be eligible to vote in that election. To register to vote, update an address or make a name change, one can obtain a voter registration application at hcvoter.net, or at any Tax Office branch location and City of Houston community and health centers. Chevron’s Fuel Your School Program expands to Harris County Chevron recently announced the launch of its Fuel Your School program in Harris County. Fuel Your School will provide funding for eligible classroom projects developed by public school teachers and posted to DonorsChoose.org. Chevron will donate $1 for every eight gallon or larger fill up from Oct. 1 to Oct. 31 at participating Chevron and Texaco stations in Harris County, up to a total contribution of $1 million dollars. Public school teachers and other educators were invited to post eligible project requests starting on Sept. 1 to www.DonorsChoose.org for possible funding as part of the 2012 Fuel Your School program. Kingwood Community Center names new facility manager Justin Hagendorf was recently hired as the facility manager for the new Kingwood Community Center.
