Houston City Council Member Mike Sullivan transferred $26,000 to the Houston Fire Department, which was used to purchase life saving equipment. The equipment was purchased with surplus council office funds that Sullivan was able to use as a result of cost cutting measures he instituted in his office. All of the equipment, including a power cutter saw, cyanide kit 5G and thermal imaging camera, will be sent to fire stations in Sullivan’s district. These include stations #101, 102, 103, and 104.
